Billy and the Minpins, formerly known as The Minpins, was Roald Dahl's last novel before he died in 1990, and the only one to have not been illustrated by Quentin Blake.

Originally published in 1991, this is a large paperback illustrated by Patrick Benson.

Billy's mum says he must never go out through the garden gate and explore the dark forest beyond. So, one day, that's exactly what he does!
