Roald Dahl lived in Great Missenden in the Buckinghamshire countryside for 36 years, and had an enduring love for the nature that surrounded him. In the last year of his life he worked on a diary of notes about the flora and fauna around his home, and these notes transformed into a month-by-month account of the passing year.

In this book you will find childhood memories, alongside tips, observations and beautiful illustrations by Quentin Blake.
